Chris earned his PhD from the University of Delaware and has continued working at the university with the Center for Environmental Monitoring and Analysis (CEMA). As the lead for quality control of the DEOS network, Chris ensures the accuracy of both real-time and historical data. In his role as an on-staff meteorologist, Chris monitors significant weather events impacting the Delaware region, including winter storms, tropical systems, severe weather, and longer-term climatological trends. Additionally, Chris has developed many web applications that support CEMA’s mission of providing accurate and actionable environmental data.
